Manali is a town in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh that is close to Kullu town in the Kullu district. It is located at the northernmost point of the Beas River-created Kullu Valley. The picturesque town of Manali, which is tucked away in the Beas River Valley, enthralls us with its snow-capped mountains, tumbling waterfalls, hot springs, vibrant marketplaces, remarkable heritage, and more. A greater number of people are discovering the calm and tranquil hill station thanks to adventure sports. Even though practically all tourists have heard about Manali, there are other nearby locations that are equally as lovely. They are actually remarkably pristine because they are significantly less busy than Manali. Here are a few hidden places in manali:

Malana

About 80 kilometers from Manali, in the Parvati Valley, lies the little Himalayan village of Malana. Renuka Devi and Jamdagni temples are two popular tourist destinations in Malana village, known for their exquisite stone and wood carvings. Malana is an exciting trekking destination that is a tribal paradise with some amazing hiking sites and heart-stoppingly beautiful scenery.

Hidimba Devi Temple

The 1553 Hidimba (also called Hadimba) Devi Temple is perched on a hillside, nearly hidden by dense cedar woodlands. The temple honors Hidimba, a significant figure in the Mahabharata, an old Indian epic. The elaborately carved wooden temple is situated around a cave that is purported to be her meditation spot. It has a distinctive architectural style.

kheerganga

Kheerganga, situated 95 miles from Manali in the Parvati Valley, is well-known for its hot springs. Kheerganga is about an 11-kilometer hike away. The walk begins with a pleasant drive up to Barshaini, which is the start of a picturesque and invigorating trail. Many trekkers often long for a return trip after experiencing this incredible hike with its breathtaking vistas and natural hot springs.

Himalayan Nyingamapa Gompa

Situated near the bustling Manali market streets is the Himalayan Nyingamapa Gompa, another stunning but unique location. This monastery is smaller in size than most others. However, this Gompa, like others, exudes a holy and peaceful atmosphere through the incense-scented air and the calming sounds of chants and prayers.

Arjun Gufa

Five kilometers from Manali, on the banks of the stunning Beas River, lies Arjun Gufa, a cave. This is a very attractive location, its peace broken only by the roaring Beas river. The Mahabharata hero Arjun is credited with giving the location its name; it is said that he pondered here. Whatever one's beliefs, this location is ideal for taking in the breathtaking views of the alpine woods and snow-capped mountains.

Solang Valley

The vast Solang Valley, which is roughly 13 kilometers from Manali, provides breathtaking vistas of the majestic Himalayas' glaciers and snow-capped summits. Solang Valley, also referred to as "Snow Point," is a popular destination for thrilling summer and winter adventure activities like paragliding, skiing, and parachute flying.

Manu Temple

Manu, who is revered as the source of life after the world was destroyed by the fabled deluge, is the reason Manali got its name. Three kilometers from the main market in old Manali lies a historic shrine devoted to the sage Manu. Since it is the only temple in India devoted to him, many tourists consider it an absolute must-see.
